Centor North America – moving on up

Folding door and screen system designer and manufacturer Centor moves to bigger and better premises

Chicago, IL, 7 December 2010 – Centor North America Inc started operating out of new premises in Batavia last week to increase capacity and cater for future growth, a result of the increasing popularity of its folding door and screen/blind systems.

Centor North America president Jim Thornton said despite the poor economic conditions, there was increasing demand for Centor’s innovative door and window systems.

“The new facility allows us to be in a better position to address the North American market’s needs. Centor has a bright future, and this new facility gives us the capacity to meet our expected future growth. We opened a new branch in Florida in November and plan to open another two branches in 2011.”

The new facility has increased warehouse and fabrication space as well as room for a showroom and training area. There is 32,000 sq ft. of operational area and has increased Centor’s insect screen and blind assembly capacity by 50 per cent, with additional capacity being added shortly.
